They are led in scoring by James Harden with 29.4 ppg. He also adds 5.3 boards and a team high 7 dimes per game, while Chris Paul adds 21.4 ppg, 5.8 boards and 6.1 dimes per game. Eric Gordon follows with 14.2 ppg.

In Game 1 on Monday, the Warriors led once again by Kevin Durant (37 points), utilized a strong second half offensive effort and outscored the Rockets 63-50 in the span in order to get away with a 119-106 road victory that gives them the 1-0 lead in the series.

Rockets lead the Warriors 3-2 wins so far this season and they have won the only Golden State matchup with a 121-122 score. Warriors are 35-12 at home so far this season, while Rockets are 34-11 on the road. Those two teams have the best offenses in the postseason, with Warriors being first (110.7) and Rockets second (110.6), while Rockets have the third-best defense, allowing 102.1 ppg to Warriors’ 104.1.

Golden State have a better accuracy from the field, shooting with 47.3% to Houston’s 45.3%, while Houston have a better accuracy from behind the arc, shooting with 35.6% to Golden State’s 33.2%. Golden State grab more rebounds, with 46.4 to Houston’s 43.9 and dish more assists, with 27.8 to Houston’s 20.6, while Houston commit fewer turnovers per game (10.6 to 13.2). Warriors have been very strong at home and Vegas odds give them a -7 and expect them to beat those odds for the home victory today.
