The 2018 WNBA season starts on Friday, May 18. At the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, the Minnesota Lynx have opened as +120 favorites, followed by the LA Sparks at +160. Much like in hockey, the hometown team is getting plenty of love. The Las Vegas Aces have been bet down from 100/1 to 20/1, despite being the worst team in the league last season.  2018 WNBA Odds and Props.

The lack of betting support for the Connecticut Sun (30/1) is a little surprising. The Sun finished 21-13 last season. Furthermore didn’t have their best player, Chiney Oguwmike, all year. Not only do they get her back, but they also add 2017 draft pick Leticia Romero who missed all of last season. The Sun play in the weaker Eastern Conference. Consequently they’ll avoid Minnesota, Los Angeles and Phoenix. They open the season at home against Las Vegas (8-26 last season), LA Sparks, and Indiana (9-25 last season) before traveling to Chicago (12-22 last season). If The Sun start the year 3-1, you’re unlikely to find that +3000 future for very much longer.
