Not a great week for the big guys. The number 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 teams from last week’s ESPN power rankings all lost, with two of them losing twice. As a result, we’ve seen some shuffling at the top of the NCAA Men’s Basketball odds sheet from the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. Michigan State is the +300 favorite, followed by Villanova (+450) and Duke (+450).

Despite a 14-1 record with wins over Wisconsin, VCU, Virginia Tech, Boston College and North Carolina, bettors still haven’t warmed up to Virginia. The Cavaliers still have the same 30/1 odds now (as the No. 3 team in the country) than they did when betting opened last April. Other notables include: Kentucky at 18/1, Kansas at 15/1, North Carolina at 40/1 and Wichita State down to 10/1.
